JUNIOR LIFEGUARD PROGRAM 2006

2006 dates for Junior Lifeguard qualifying test

Sunday, June 4, 8-10 am West Bath Pool
Saturday, June 17, 8-10 am West Bath Pool

    We will be taking 200 children who will need to qualify with the following times:

            AGE                DISTANCE        TIME
           ---------            -----------------      ------------------
            9-10                100 yds            1 min 45 sec
              11                  100 yds            1 min 30 sec
            12-14               100 yds            1 min 20 sec
            15-16               100 yds            1 min 15 sec

It is strongly recommended that children be prepared for the swim test and expect to
compete for their position in the program.

At this time we will be collecting a $60.00 registration fee from all who have qualified.
Checks should be made out to “National Heritage Trust”

2006 Junior Lifeguard start date & registration fee

First day of Junior Lifeguards will be Sunday, June 25, 8 am-10 am East Bath Pool.
The sessions will run every Sunday morning from 8 am – 10 am from June 25 thru Aug 13.

2006 JB Junior Lifeguard Tournament update

The 3^rd Jones Beach Junior Lifeguard Tournament will take place Monday, July 17, 2006
at the East Bath Ocean Front. Mark your calendar now. More information to follow.
