Jones Beach lifeguard Stanley Q. Casey.
Stan started lifeguarding at RM4 in 1967, and then moved to WE2 in
1970, where he remained until 1984.
Stan was a loyal union member who fought the strike busters in 1971 and
was an integral part of our union legal strategy team over these many
years. He was known for his dramatic flair and his creative ideas
spawned many a theatrical production at WE2.
Stan's brother Stephen is the Lt. at WE2, and his niece's Brooke and
Regan are both JB lifeguards.
